Ryman Evelyn Page
Following the success of work completed for the Sir Edmund Hilary Village in Remuera, Ryman Healthcare selected EuroClad to provide the exterior finishing package to the new Evelyn Page Retirement Village in Orewa. The village features the latest designs in retirement living including architecturally designed independent townhouses and apartments, serviced apartments, and a care centre set amongst beautifully landscaped gardens.
Overview:
This was a significant project with 248 independent apartments, 66 serviced apartments and 115 care beds - over 40,000 square metres of exterior cladding, built over a 4-year period. Special consideration needed to be given to environmental factors, such as wind zone and proximity to the effects of the ocean and sea spray zone.
Neil's Thoughts:
"Since completion, we've been really proud of our continued maintenance schedules. This includes annual washdowns, spiderproofing and moss & mould treatments. This frequent maintenance has ensured the village still looks fantastic, years after."
