Client: Michael and Dallas Thornton

Sector: Residential

Location: Whenuapai

Project: New Build Cladding

Project Background

A substantial, French provincial style home designed by Patterson Co Architects that included significant architectural features; porticos, chimneys, a pool house, balustrades, exterior entrance doors imported from France, roof tiles imported from Italy, and built in solid masonry construction.

The owners wanted a unique, high-quality exterior that looked soft with a natural, aged appearance to it – something they had not seen in New Zealand before. The project demanded an exceptional aesthetic finish, extensive attention to detailing, combined with long-lasting durability.
